Changes to ANZ fees and charges
We're making changes to some of our fees and charges. These changes will come into effect from 1 July 2026.
The main reason behind these changes is to simplify the way our fees work, or to reduce or remove them entirely.
We have summarised the changes in detail below.

Fees we're introducing
We are introducing this fee to better reflect the costs to us of providing the service.

We are making changes to these fees and charges.
Fees we're removing
We're removing the following fees and charges:
- Dishonour fee
- Stop payment fee
- Special Answer - Cheques drawn on other banks1
- Special Answer - Cheques drawn on our bank1
- Stop Cheque Notice
- ANZ Visa Debit Card Fees - International ATM Withdrawal Fee
- ANZ Visa Debit Card Fees - International ATM Balance Enquiry Fee
- ANZ Visa Debit Card Fees - International POS Fee
- Diskpay - Direct debit schedules (ANZ Customers)
- Diskpay - Payment to other bank accounts
- Change supplied for Non ANZ customers1
- Periodical Transfer Payments - Transfer to loan account for repayment (same bank)
- Periodical Transfer Payments - Transfer to an account within ANZ
- Periodical Transfer Payments - Transfer to accounts of other Banks/Institutions
- Transfer – Manual transfers within ANZ (note Transaction fee may apply)
- Sweep fees

Fees we're removing
We're removing the following fees and charges:
- Late payment fee
- Special Answer - Cheques drawn on other banks1
- Special Answer - Cheques drawn on our bank1
- Letter of undertaking
- Opinions
- Document Handling fees – Each additional document
- Insurance Premiums administration fee
